Community

Community is the platform-wide discussion area, for conversations that are not tied to one course. Course announcements are separate and stay in the course Stream.

Read and search

Select Community in the top navigation to see the feed of posts, newest first. Use the search box to find posts by keyword.

Create a post

1. Select New Post.
2. Choose a post type:
   • Question: ask for help or clarification.
   • Discussion: start a conversation or debate.
   • Resource: share notes, files, or useful links.
   • Announcement: an official notice for the community.
   • Opportunity: internships, projects, competitions.
   • Event: a workshop, seminar, or talk.
3. Add a title and write the post.
4. Add tags if you want the post to be easier to find.
5. Set the visibility if you are given the option.
6. Select Publish.

Comments and replies

Open a post to comment on it, or to reply to an existing comment in a thread. You can edit or delete your own posts and comments.

Authorized users can moderate posts and comments across Community.
