Community and Moderation
Community is the platform-wide forum, separate from any course. Course announcements stay in the course Stream; Community is for institute-wide conversation.
Post in Community
Section titled “Post in Community”The steps are the same as for students. See Community for creating a post, choosing a post type, adding tags, and setting visibility.
The Announcement post type is for an official notice to the whole community. Use it sparingly, and keep course-specific notices in the course Stream.
Moderation
Section titled “Moderation”Where you are authorized, you have moderation controls over posts and comments in Community beyond editing or deleting your own. Use them for content that breaks institute norms, and prefer editing or asking the author to change a post over removing it outright.
