The Ask Assistant

Ask is Easel’s AI assistant. It answers questions about the institute, such as courses, schedules, rules, and faculty, using documents available to Easel.

Ask a question

1. Select Ask in the top navigation.
2. Type your question, or pick one of the suggested questions.
3. Select Send.
4. Read the answer, then check the sources listed with it.

Follow-up questions

Ask keeps the context of the conversation, so you can ask a follow-up without repeating what you already said.

What to keep in mind

• Answers can be wrong or incomplete.
• The documents behind an answer may not be the newest information available.
• Use the cited sources to confirm anything that affects an academic or administrative decision.
• An Ask answer is not an official decision. Confirm important matters with the relevant faculty member, department, or official source.
