Course Setup

Your courses

Courses are created and assigned by an administrator. When you are set as teaching a course, it appears under My Courses when you open Courses.

If a course you should be teaching is missing, contact an administrator.

The People tab

Open a course and select the People tab to see the faculty and students on it.

Sections and lab batches

A course can be split into sections or lab batches. When a course has sections, you and your students work within a specific section, and you can target content, assignments, and attendance at one batch rather than the whole class.

Manage Groups

Manage Groups, from your profile menu, lets you build reusable audiences. Create a group once, then target announcements and resources to it instead of picking recipients each time.

1. Open Manage Groups.
2. Select New group and give it a name.
3. Use members to see and adjust who is in the group.

Groups can be edited or deleted later from the same page.
