Posting to the Stream

The Stream is a course’s main feed. It holds your announcements and assignments, newest first. Open a course and stay on the Stream tab to post.

The buttons at the top of the Stream are Add resource, New assignment, and New announcement.

Post an announcement

Select New announcement.
Enter a Title and any Details students should know.
If the course has lab batches, set the audience: Whole class, or a single batch.
Select Post.

Use announcements for schedule changes, exam information, instructions, and other updates that need to reach the class.

Post an assignment

Select New assignment.
Enter a Title and Instructions.
Set Points and a Due date and time if the assignment has them.
To hold the assignment until later, turn on Schedule for later and pick when it should post. Otherwise it posts immediately.
Set the audience if the course has lab batches.
Add Attachments if students need supporting files.
Select the create button.

Editing and deleting

Open any item you posted to edit or delete it. Deleting an assignment also removes every student’s submission and its attachments.
